After studying together at The Rambert School we both went on to work for various large companies until our careers crossed on a project in 2002.

Driven by a natural physical connection in the studio, we decided to join forces as dancers to commission new and exciting duet work to be made on us. PROBE was therefore conceived in 2004, and we curated our first full-length evening of work ‘Have we met somewhere before?’

PROBE aims to bring together some of the most exciting artists working in dance today and to challenge the context in which dance is normally seen. With a focus on touring to intimate spaces, our first production was performed across the U.K., Venezuela, Spain, France and Italy where we won the “Guglielmo Ebreo Award” and “Critic’s Choice Award” for our collaboration with Rafael Bonachela at the Biennale Danza e Italia 2006.

Our second full-length evening made up of seven short duet and solo works, entitled MAGPIE, is touring throughout 2008.

Based in Brighton, we are supported by Arts Council England, Hextable Dance, Greenwich Dance Agency, Merlin Theatre Frome, Take Art, and South Hill Park,Greenwich Dance Agency, Merlin Theatre Frome, Take Art, South Hill Park, The Marina Kleinwort Charitable Trust.
